Terms of Service
Effective date: October 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between Zivalo LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, doing business as Frontage ("Frontage," "we," "us"), and the business or person that creates an account or uses the Service ("you" or "Customer"). A mailing address for Zivalo LLC is available on request by emailing support@meetfrontage.com. We do not publish a street address on the Site.
By creating an account, connecting a Google account, or using the Service at https://www.meetfrontage.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Frontage is software for local businesses. Depending on your plan, you can:
- connect a Google Business Profile through Google OAuth and the Google Business Profile API, when Google has approved API access;
- read Google reviews and reply to them;
- receive AI-drafted reply suggestions when an OpenAI API key is configured, or a built-in draft when it is not;
- receive suggested edits to listing details, which are applied only after you approve them and can be rolled back;
- prepare review-request emails and text messages, with a required consent checkbox, a shared template, and STOP language on SMS; and
- on the Townsquare plan, track how ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini describe your business ("AI visibility").
The Service is for business use in the United States. Plan prices are on the pricing page. Until a live provider key is set, Google writes, email, SMS, and card charges stay inside Frontage and are labeled as demo.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and able to bind the business you represent. You will give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by teammates. The Service is offered to businesses in the United States.
3. Connecting Google
You may connect only locations you own or are authorized to manage. Google's terms apply, including the Google Business Profile API policies. If Google suspends a listing or our API access, we are not liable for that.
Listing edits are applied only after you approve them. You can roll a listing change back to the previous text.
Review replies are drafts until you approve them. You may turn on a rule that publishes replies to 4- and 5-star reviews. Replies below 4 stars stay drafts unless you separately allow those ratings to publish. You are responsible for every reply that is published under your account.
You can remove Frontage's access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also email support@meetfrontage.com and ask us to disconnect a location. There is not yet a Disconnect button in Settings. How we handle Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy, including the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements.
If you tell us you no longer want us to manage a Business Profile, we will within seven business days disassociate that profile from the Service and remove our permissions, to the extent Google still lets us revoke them.
We will tell you about material changes the Service makes to a connected account by email or in the product.
4. Review integrity
You will not, and will not use the Service to:
- Write, buy, or solicit fake or misleading reviews, including reviews by people who did not use the business, or undisclosed reviews by owners, employees, or relatives.
- Offer payment, a discount, a gift, or any other incentive for a review, a rating, or the removal of a review.
- Gate reviews. You will not screen customers by sentiment and invite only the happy ones to Google, or steer unhappy customers away from the public review. Frontage uses one template and one review link for the whole list. You will not work around that.
- Threaten or mislead someone to stop a review or to take one down, or pretend that a filtered set of reviews is the full set. See the FTC's Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials, 16 C.F.R. Part 465, including section 465.7.
- Violate Google's policies on fake engagement, conflicts of interest, or review solicitation.
- Use a reply to harass a reviewer, publish their private information, or state facts you know are false.
- Pretend a Frontage draft is something other than your business's reply.
We may refuse a template that breaks these rules, suspend the account, and tell Google or a regulator when we believe we have to. Suspension for a violation does not create a refund for a paid period that has already started.
5. Review-request messages
You decide whom to contact. You are the sender. Frontage prepares and, when a provider is configured, hands the message to Resend or Twilio.
5.1 Your warranties
For every email address or phone number you submit, you represent that:
- you collected it from a person who actually did business with you, and you gave any notice the law requires;
- for texts, you have the prior express consent, and the prior express written consent where the TCPA, FCC rules, or state law require it, before you submit the number;
- you can show that consent if we ask, and you will not use purchased, rented, or scraped lists;
- you will not message anyone who opted out, or anyone on a do-not-call list where that list applies to you; and
- you will follow the TCPA, the CAN-SPAM Act, applicable state telemarketing laws, carrier rules, and Twilio's or Resend's policies when those providers are used.
Frontage may rely on these statements. You are responsible for the content, the recipients, and claims or fines that come from them.
5.2 SMS
The program is an occasional review request for the business the person visited. The footer tells the recipient they can reply STOP. Frontage does not currently process inbound STOP or HELP messages from the carrier. You must honor opt-outs yourself, and you may email support@meetfrontage.com to ask us to record a suppression. HELP requests can be sent to support@meetfrontage.com.
Message and data rates may apply. Frequency is whatever you choose to send. We do not add a second reminder campaign of our own. You will send texts only during hours the law allows. Where a rule requires it, that includes 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the recipient's local time, and any stricter state hours. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and texting consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Twilio receives a number only to deliver a message you asked us to send.
You will not use the Service for loans, gambling, cannabis, firearms, adult content, or other content carriers prohibit, and you will not tie a message to a reward for a review.
Example text, with your business name and link filled in:
Thanks for your visit to Northshore Books. We'd love your feedback: https://www.meetfrontage.com. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&data rates may apply.
You have been unsubscribed from Northshore Books messages and will not receive more.
Northshore Books review requests via Frontage. For help, email support@meetfrontage.com. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
5.3 Email
Emails go out under your business name. You will not use a deceptive subject line or a false From address. The message footer includes the business name and the postal address stored on the location. You must keep that address accurate. You are responsible for a working unsubscribe link that CAN-SPAM requires. Frontage does not publish its own street address. A mailing address for Zivalo LLC is available on request. Opt-outs must be honored within ten business days. We aim to act as soon as you tell us. Do not use purchased or harvested lists.
5.4 Suppression
Do not try to bypass a person who opted out. We may keep a minimal suppression record after the account ends so that person is not contacted again.
5.5 Roles
You are the business responsible for your customers' personal information. Frontage processes it to provide the Service. A data processing addendum is available on request at support@meetfrontage.com. You answer your customers' privacy requests. We will help as the law requires.
5.6 Blocking
We may delay or stop a campaign if we believe it violates this Section 5, a carrier rule, or the law, or if complaints spike.
6. AI output
AI replies, listing suggestions, and visibility reports can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit. You must read them before you approve anything that is published. They are not legal, medical, or financial advice. Do not put health information, payment numbers, or government IDs into a reply. We send content to AI providers as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not control what a public assistant says when someone else asks it a question. As between you and Frontage, you may use the output generated for your account. We do not promise that it is unique or free of third-party rights.
7. No ranking guarantee
AI visibility reports show what a model returned for a sample prompt at that time. They are not a promise of what a customer will see. Frontage does not guarantee a Google rank, a Maps position, a star rating, a review count, an AI mention, traffic, or revenue. Those systems are outside our control. A provider may block automated prompts. We may change which providers we sample.
8. No affiliation
Frontage is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google, OpenAI, Perplexity, Twilio, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, or Prisma. Their names are used only to identify those services. Their terms apply when you use them through Frontage.
9. Subscriptions, trials, and renewal
9.1 Plans and the free trial
Plans are priced per location, per month, in U.S. dollars: Porch $49, Storefront $99, and Townsquare $199. Taxes are extra where the law requires them. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.
Every plan includes a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, the paid subscription starts when the trial ends and renews each month until you cancel. While Stripe is not configured, choosing a plan only records a demo subscription and does not charge a card.
9.2 Automatic renewal
Your paid subscription renews each month until you cancel. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method on file for the then-current monthly fee, taxes, and any usage fees, on each renewal date, until you cancel. The renewal price is the price then in effect. Keep a valid card on file.
9.3 Price changes
We may change prices or what a plan includes on at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product. The change applies at the next renewal after that notice. If you do not accept it, cancel before it takes effect.
9.4 How to cancel
You may cancel at any time, online, without calling us. In the product, open Billing and choose Cancel plan. You may also email support@meetfrontage.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access until then and will not be charged for the next period. Canceling during the 7-day trial, before a paid period starts, means you are not charged. Disconnecting Google or deleting an account does not by itself cancel billing. We will confirm the cancellation by email if you ask.
9.5 No refunds for a paid period that has started
Once a paid period starts, fees for that period are not refunded, in whole or in part. We do not prorate unused days, unused messages, or a downgrade in the middle of a paid period. Nothing in this section takes away a refund the law requires. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused part of the current paid period.
9.6 Failed payments
If a payment fails we may retry, tell you, and suspend the account until it succeeds. Please email us before you dispute a charge with your bank.
9.7 Stripe
When checkout is live, Stripe processes the payment. Frontage does not store your full card number. Stripe's terms apply to the payment.
10. Acceptable use
You will not break the law or someone else's rights, violate Sections 4 or 5, harass anyone, upload malware, bypass limits, scrape or resell the Service, send spam, use Frontage to give third parties a back door to our Google API project, or share your password outside your team.
11. Your content
You keep your rights in the data you submit and in data we receive from accounts you connect ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host and process it only to provide and secure the Service and as the Privacy Policy describes. We will not use Google user data in violation of Google's Limited Use requirements, and we do not sell Customer Data.
If you send us product suggestions, we may use them without owing you a fee. We may use aggregated data that does not identify a person and is not Google user data.
You can ask for a copy of your account data, or for deletion, by emailing support@meetfrontage.com. There is not yet an export or delete button in Settings.
12. Our intellectual property
The Service, the Site, and the software belong to Frontage and its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during a subscription for your internal business. Rights not granted are reserved.
13. Third-party services
The Service depends on Google, OpenAI, Perplexity, Resend, Twilio, Stripe, Vercel, and Prisma Postgres. They can change or go down. We are not responsible for them. If Google or a carrier cuts off access, the affected feature may stop, and we are not liable for that.
14. Investor-interest form
The investor form is described in the Privacy Policy. Submitting it is not an offer to sell securities and not a solicitation to buy securities. It creates no obligation, and no confidential or advisory relationship. Do not send confidential or material non-public information.
15. Suspension and termination
These Terms last while you use the Service. You may cancel as described in Section 9.4. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, do not pay, create legal risk, or if Google or a carrier requires it, or if we discontinue the Service. If we end the Service without cause, Section 9.5 describes the refund of unused prepaid fees. Sections that should survive do survive, including Sections 4, 5.1, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 16 through 22.
16. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL AI OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, FRONTAGE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, THAT A MESSAGE WILL BE DELIVERED, THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, THAT GOOGLE WILL KEEP A REPLY OR A LISTING CHANGE, OR THAT YOU WILL GET ANY RANKING OR BUSINESS RESULT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW SOME OF THESE DISCLAIMERS, SO PART OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, FRONTAGE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS, EVEN IF WE WERE WARNED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FRONTAGE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (II) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). THESE LIMITS APPLY TO EVERY THEORY OF LIABILITY. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR GOOGLE'S OR A CARRIER'S ACTIONS, OR FOR MESSAGES YOU SEND OR CONSENT YOU FAIL TO GET. NOTHING HERE LIMITS LIABILITY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO LIMIT, SUCH AS FRAUD.
18. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Frontage and its people against claims, damages, fines, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your Customer Data, the messages and replies you approve, your breach of these Terms (including Sections 3, 4, and 5), your violation of law including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, state telemarketing laws, and 16 C.F.R. Part 465, claims by your customers, reviewers, Google, or carriers about your use, and your violation of someone else's rights. We will give you prompt notice of a claim. You may not settle a claim that puts an obligation on us without our written consent.
19. Privacy and security
The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. We use the safeguards described there. You will protect your password and tell us at support@meetfrontage.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
20. Changes
We may change the Service and these Terms. For a material change to the Terms we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product before it takes effect, unless the law or a security problem requires a faster change. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you accept the update. If you do not agree, cancel before it takes effect.
21. Illinois law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Before filing a claim, the party raising it will email the other a short description and try in good faith to resolve it for at least 30 days. Our address for that notice is support@meetfrontage.com. A mailing address for formal papers is available on request.
Exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the state and federal courts located in the State of Illinois. Each party consents to those courts. We do not require arbitration, and these Terms do not waive a jury or a class action.
Any claim must be brought within one year after it arose, unless the law forbids that limit.
22. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement. You may not assign them without our consent. We may assign them in a merger or sale, subject to the Privacy Policy's consent rule for Google user data. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including an outage at Google, Vercel, or a carrier. We may notice you at your account email. You may notice us at support@meetfrontage.com. You consent to electronic notices. You will not use the Service in violation of U.S. export or sanctions laws. The Service is not for anyone under 18. Do not upload contacts of anyone you know is under 13. There are no third-party beneficiaries except that Google and our suppliers may rely on Sections 8, 16, and 17.
California residents may send a complaint to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or call (800) 952-5210. That is a state office, not Frontage's address.
